For the ‘Mode, Passion et Collection’ exhibition at the Museum of Art and History of Geneva, Miralab combined fashion with Virtual Reality. We developed an interactive zone where visitors could dress a virtual model and travel around the world with it. A choice of eight garments –which were part of the exhibition– was proposed. I was in charge of the interactive development, which was technically solved with eight touch-screens –back in 2004 that was quite a hit– a lot of Action Script –the UX experience was designed with Flash– and many lines of PHP combining all the 3D video footages created by Miralab’s Virtual Reality experts. During five months, hundreds of visitors interacted with our zone, learning about the potentials of Virtual Reality and the new media landscape.
